The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is on the verge of making a crucial decision regarding the future of Harmanpreet Kaur as captain of the Indian women’s cricket team after the team endured a first-round exit at the Women’s T20 World Cup in UAE.
For the first time in recent years, India failed to progress to the knockout stages of the ICC event. Harmanpreet, who has led India since 2016, now faces an uncertain future as captain, though her place in the squad remains secure, according to a report on The Indian Express.
