During the end moments of the second day of the second Test between Pakistan and England, Sajid Khan showed three fingers to Brydon Carse, who was relatively new to the crease. The event transpired when Sajid finished his 17th over the spell, completing 48 overs of England’s innings.
Carse was going to talk to his partner after the end of the set when Sajid came up with this antics. He made number three with his fingers with a cheeky, little smile on his face, which looked like banter.
While it’s not conclusive, Sajid was probably doing a concussion test jokingly because a ball had hit Carse’s helmet a few moments back. As the rules say, if a ball hit a batter’s head, a concussion test is mandatory, and while the batter didn’t require it since the blow wasn’t severe, Sajid didn’t miss out on having fun with the English player.

Talking about the game, Pakistan made a solid comeback during the final session of the second day of the second Test between Pakistan and England. At one stage, England were going comfortably at 211/2, but a collapse shifted the tides in Pakistan’s favour during the last session.
From 211/2, England slipped to 225/6 within 18 balls to bring Pakistan back into the game. Sajid Khan did the most damage in the innings, taking four wickets for 86 runs in his 19-over spell.
Initially, he didn’t get ample turn, but once the game moved for the post-tea session, Sajid got a whopping 4.3° turn, compared to 3.1° before the tea. Other bowlers, especially Noman Ali, also bowled in tight areas and got two wickets in 21 overs.
After the end of the day, England were 239/6 and required another 127 runs to match Pakistan’s score. Pakistan hope to take the remaining wickets as soon as possible to get a handy first-innings lead since the ball will turn more and spinners will come more into play.
