Mushfiqur was eventually forced to walk back to the dugout after scoring just 11 runs.
Proteas speedster Kagiso Rabada reached the milestone of 300 Test wickets earlier today during the ongoing BAN vs SA 1st Test.
The South Africa pacer also reached the landmark in style with a ripper of a delivery to outfox Mushfiqur Rahim.
The incident happened on the 14th over of Bangladesh’s innings. Rabada bowled a length delivery outside off but it nipped back. The right-handed Rahim was hoping to defend it on the front foot but the ball went through the gap between his bat and the pads and rattled two of the three stumps completely.
Mushfiqur was eventually forced to walk back to the dugout after scoring just 11 runs.

The 29-year-old etched his name in cricket history by becoming the fastest bowler (fewest deliveries) to reach 300 Test wickets.
Kagiso Rabada accomplished the feat in just 11,817 deliveries, breaking the record previously held by Pakistan’s iconic fast bowler Waqar Younis, who needed 12,602 deliveries to reach the same achievement.
Notably, Rabada also reached this landmark during his 65th Test match, making him the third-fastest South African to claim 300 wickets in Tests, behind Dale Steyn (61 matches) and Allan Donald (63 matches). However, in terms of matches, veteran India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is the fastest, achieving the feat in 54 games.
Rabada is now among the six active bowlers to have joined the 300-wicket club, with Ravindra Jadeja being another recent addition.
Rabada also stands out as the only bowler to have played at least 50 Tests with a strike rate below 40, and he holds the best strike rate among all bowlers who have claimed 300 wickets.
