The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have announced the updated Central Contract list for England Men’s international cricket.
The list includes 29 players, consisting of seven Two-Year Central Contracts, 19 Annual Central Contracts, and three Development Contracts.
Will Jacks, who scored 230 runs in 8 matches during his debut season in IPL 2024, was released by RCB on the IPL 2025 retention deadline day and simultaneously got a central contract from England on the same day.
So far, Jacks has represented England in 2 Tests, scoring 89 runs, played 13 ODIs with a total of 451 runs, and participated in 18 T20Is, where he accumulated 271 runs.
Meanwhile, England Men’s cricket captains Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler have both signed extensions and are now on two-year contracts. Test captain Stokes, who was previously on a one-year deal, joins white ball captain Buttler, who has signed his two-year contract.

In a notable move, five players have signed England Central Contracts for the first time under the new multi-year system introduced last year. Jamie Smith has secured a two-year contract, while Will Jacks, Shoaib Bashir, Phil Salt, and Olly Stone have each signed one-year contracts.
Jacob Bethell and Josh Hull have both agreed to England Development Contracts for the first time, joining John Turner in this category.
Additionally, three players who were already contracted have renewed their deals, with Gus Atkinson signing a two-year contract and Jack Leach and Reece Topley each agreeing to one-year extensions.

One-Year Central Contracts: Rehan Ahmed, Jofra Archer, Jonny Bairstow, Shoaib Bashir, Brydon Carse, Zak Crawley, Sam Curran, Ben Duckett, Will Jacks, Jack Leach, Liam Livingstone, Ollie Pope, Matthew Potts, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt, Olly Stone, Josh Tongue, Reece Topley, Chris Woakes.
