Rohit Sharma gets angry at spider cam after losing DRS [WATCH]

The incident happened during the 22nd over of the second New Zealand innings.

India skipper Rohit Sharma lost his cool and got angry at the spider cam on Day 2 of the ongoing IND vs NZ 3rd Test in Mumbai.

During the 22nd over of the second New Zealand innings, Ravichandran Ashwin trapped Kiwi batter Daryl Mitchell with an LBW appeal. Although the on-field decision was not out, Ashwin managed to convince Rohit for a DRS.

However, replays showed that the impact was outside and that the original decision was correct.

Soon after, when the camera panned towards Rohit to catch his reaction, he could be seen getting angry at the overhead spider cam and shooed it away with his hands.

Earlier in the day, the spider-cam stopped moving due to some technical malfunction, which forced the umpires to call for an early lunch. Check the video below.

Coming out to bat in their second innings, the Blackcaps have shown good intent and already negated India’s lead. At the time of writing this report, the New Zealand scoreboard read 90 for 3 after 26 overs with Will Young and Daryl Mitchell at the crease, and a lead of 62 runs.
