The ILT20 2025 will run from January 11 -February 9 in 2025.
In a recent development coming in, the dates for the upcoming ILT20 2025 season have been confirmed. The six-team franchise-based competition in the Middle East will run from January 11 -February 9 in 2025.
However, it is now understood that the third ILT20 edition will see a major clash in dates with other global T20 leagues. The early next year window for which the dates have been confirmed coincides with the SA20, the Big Bash League (BBL), the Super Smash (New Zealand) and the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The third season of the SA20 is scheduled to take place from January 9 to February 8. Meanwhile, the BBL will kick off on December 15 and continue until January 27, 2025. The BPL is slated to start on December 30 and wrap up on February 7, 2025. Additionally, New Zealand’s Super Smash tournament will run from December 26 to February 2.

The ILT20 2025 season will see a total of 34 matches, with the final at the Dubai International Stadium.
David White, CEO of ILT20, acknowledged that the January-February 2025 schedule was heavily packed, compounded by the “added complications” of the Champions Trophy. He mentioned that ILT20 was considering various alternatives, including shifting the tournament to the October-November period.
Despite this, the league, which gained List A status from the ICC ahead of the 2024 season, ultimately chose to retain its traditional January-February timeframe, consistent with the previous two editions.
On the other hand, Earlier this year, the PCB announced plans to shift the PSL to an April-May window to escape the increasingly congested December-February period. However, this adjustment would lead to an overlap with the IPL.
