T20 World Cup likely to be postponed to 2022

Reports have surfaced stating that the 2020 T20 World Cup in Australia will be postponed to 2022 following the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated curfews in place. The T20 World Cup was scheduled for October- November this year in 2020. With Australia closing borders and conditions across the world in pathetic state, there were talks of postponement. An ANI report has now revealed that ICC are deciding to move the World Cup to 2022. Interestingly, there’s a T20 World Cup happening in India in 2021 which will take place as scheduled.
