Mumbai need to play as a unit to perform well in this match.

Chennai Super Kings, meanwhile, are struggling as well after playing 6 games. They have managed to win only one match and have been very inconsistent as well. Ruturaj Gaikwad failed miserably in the first 5 games before getting into form in the last game. Robin Uthappa and Shivam Dube have been the only batters who have performed for the Super Kings so far. Moeen Ali has looked in all sorts except one match while Rayudu has looked in good touch but has failed to play a big knock. CSK needs consistent performance from the batters. 

Their bowling has looked very weak till now. Maheesh Theekshana has provided them with early wickets which they lacked in the first few games. Mukesh Choudhary has been decent after performing poorly in the first few games. Chris Jordan has been very expensive in the death overs. DJ Bravo has been their best bowler in IPL 2022. CSK needs their batters and bowlers to assist each other well if they are to do well in the upcoming matches.
