Kieron Pollard is known for a lot of things. His big-hitting prowess, ability to take stunning catches, hitting the bullseye from nowhere, leadership ability and what not. But he is also very well known for his unique style of showing disagreement to on-field incidents and umpire’s decisions.

WATCH: The Niall Smith over that has put the CPL game under fixing cloud

Everyone is pretty familiar with the incident where he fielded with his mouth taped in protest against the umpires decision, which he didn’t agree to, during an IPL match. Another similar incident happened on Tuesday (August 31) during the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) game between Trinbago Knight Riders and Saint Lucia Kings. He didn’t tape his mouth this time but he did something way funnier.

It was the penultimate delivery of the penultimate over of the Knight Riders’ innings when Wahab Riaz tried to bowl a wide yorker to Tim Seifert. The delivery was so bowled so far off the acceptable wide-marker that Seifert got off-balance trying to even reach it.

But the umpire didn’t call that as a wide delivery and that’s when Pollard did something unique once again. Instead of talking to the umpire and convincing him to reverse his decision, he walked straight away from the non-striker’s position to mid-wicket.

Now that’s a hilarious way to show what you feel about a horrible call, that too without getting involved in any sort of argument with the umpire. That didn’t change the umpire’s decision but it certainly added to the entertainment of the viewers.

Watch the entire incident here:

Pollard was dismissed in the very next over, on the first delivery, for an individual score of 41 off 29 balls. Seifert was the next highest scorer in their innings with 37 runs to his name off 25 balls. He was also dismissed two deliveries later and the Knight Riders managed to put on a total of 158/7 on the board. They eventually went on to win the match too, as the Kings could manage only a total of 131/7 in their quota of overs.
