Players in the Bangladesh Premier League were repeatedly seen coming up with signature steps from the movie as celebrations and now India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was seen doing the same during the first T20I between India and Sri Lanka in Lucknow.
It was the second delivery of the 10th over of the Sri Lankan innings. The visitors were already in trouble as they had been reduced to 51/3 chasing a steep target of 200. And the task became even tougher when Jadeja got Dinesh Chandimal stumped.
It was a delivery that pitched on length and then turned just enough to beat Chandimal’s outside ege. Ishan Kishan grabbed it safely behind the stumps and took the bails off, catching Chandimal outside the crease in the process. Jadeja also did the Beard celebration from Pushpa after claiming that wicket.

Sri Lanka never got going in the chase again. All they could manage was a total of 137/6 in their quota of 20 overs, thus losing the match by a massive margin of 62 runs.

This was also Ravindra Jadeja’s first match for India after a long injury layoff. His return is a very good news for Indian cricket and his IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings as well.
