The first ODI of the three-match series between Afghanistan and Bangladesh will be played on 6th November 2024 at 3:30 PM IST. The venue for this game will be the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Afghanistan defeated South Africa in their last ODI series. They have been in excellent form as a team in recent times and will be eyeing another good performance in this series. The likes of Rashid Khan, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Fazalhaq Farooqi and Azmatullah Omarzai will be the key players for Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh has been struggling as a side in the last few series. They defeated Pakistan in the test series but then lost the test and T20I series against India. South Africa also whitewashed them in their own backyard in the two-match test series. They’ll be eager to do well as a team against Afghanistan.

The pitch is expected to be neutral. Generally, Sharjah is known for its low bounce and slow nature. But it was a good wicket to bat in the last series between Afghanistan and South Africa. Spinners will get ample help as the game progresses. The Pacers may get some movement with the new ball. Scores in the range of 240-260 are expected. Teams may prefer chasing but batting first will be a good option as well.
The temperature will be around 31-32 degrees Celsius with no chance of rain.
