This will be the second and final T20I of the two-match series between Sri Lanka and New Zealand. Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium will host this game, which will be played at 7:00 PM IST on November 10th, 2024.
Sri Lanka won the first T20I by 4 wickets. The bowlers laid the foundation by restricting the Kiwis to just 135 runs. Dunith Wellalage picked up 3 wickets. Matheesha Pathirana, Wanindu Hasaranga and Nuwan Thushara picked up 2 wickets each. The batters then kept cool and chased the target in 19 overs.
Meanwhile, New Zealand failed to get going with the bat. The top order failed badly with only Michael Bracewell (27 runs) and Zakary Foulkes (27* runs) contributing with the bat. Foulkes also picked up 3 wickets with the ball. The Kiwis will have to be at their best if they are to win this do-or-die game.

The pitch had something for everyone in the first game. It was good for batting with the ball coming onto the bat nicely. The spinners got good purchase off the deck and there was some movement for the pacers with the new ball. It’s expected to play similarly in this game as well.
It will be partly cloudy with no chance of rain. The temperature will be around 24-25 degrees Celsius. It will be quite humid with the humidity being around 80-90% at the start of the game.
