BLR vs RR Dream11 Match Preview

Royal Challengers Bangalore have won 5 games out of 8 and are at the 5th position. They had a very bad day in the last game against SRH. Their batters failed completely and they were bundled out for just 68 runs. Their top order has been in poor form as Anuj Rawat has got out cheaply in all the games except against MI where he scored a fifty. Faf has been a little inconsistent as well. Virat Kohli is going through the worst phase of his IPL career as he has got out on a golden duck in the last two games. Glenn Maxwell is the only consistent batter for them alongside Shahbaz Ahmed and Dinesh Karthik. RCB needs all the other batters to start performing.  

Their bowling attack is one of the best in the entire tournament. Josh Hazlewood has been in exceptional form and has picked wickets in every game. Harshal Patel is as usual their wicket-taker and death overs specialist. Mohammad Siraj has been in very poor form and will look to do well. Wanindu Hasaranga too has failed to pick wickets in the last few games. Glenn Maxwell too has rolled his arm over for an over or two. RCB’s bowling, overall, is in good form but will expect improvements from one or two players.

Rajasthan Royals, meanwhile, are having an excellent time in IPL 2022. They are in 3rd position with 5 wins and 2 defeats after 7 games. Their batting has been carried by Jos Buttler who is in the form of his life at the moment. Buttler has scored 3 centuries in IPL 2022 and is the main reason for the good performance of Rajasthan till now. Sanju Samson too has played a couple of good knocks in the last 2 games. Devdutt Padikkal scored a half-century as well in the last game. Shimron Hetmyer has been good as their finisher. Overall, they are doing well as a batting unit.

The Royals too have a good bowling attack with the likes of Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna, Obed McCoy, Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin. They are performing well as the bowling unit too.
