NZ-W vs IN-W Dream11 Match Preview
Match no. 8 sees the hosts New Zealand meet the Asian giants, India. The two are back locking horns after just recently having faced each other in a 5-match ODI series. This is a different ordeal as it’s a World Cup encounter and both teams start off with a clean slate.
The ODI series saw NZ triumph 4-1, but it was India who won the last game and hasn’t looked back ever since as they went on to win both their warm-up games and then defeated Pakistan quite heavily in their opening World Cup fixture.
India were in all sorts of trouble before a record stand between Pooja Vastrakar and Sneh Rana helped India put on a respectable total on the board which proved to be enough as Pakistan were rolled over easily.
Whereas, New Zealand started off with a shocking loss against the West Indies, but recovered well against Bangladesh in their second game when they went on to win by 9 wickets in a rain-affected encounter. New Zealand will be taking confidence from the ODI series and would be looking to back their same plans which they used in that series. The top 3 of New Zealand have all been amongst runs and will be the key again.
