Rajasthan Royals are having a great time so far in IPL 2022. They are at the second position with 6 wins in 8 matches. They defeated RCB by 29 runs in their last game. Jos Buttler is in the form of his life in IPL 2022 and has been the best player for the Royals. He has scored runs in almost every game this season. Mumbai Indians, meanwhile, have been below average this season. They have lost 8 matches in a row. Nothing is going their way in IPL 2022. Their top order has failed miserably and that is one major reason for their poor performance. Ishan Kishan started off well this season but has been below par after the first two games while Rohit Sharma has failed to get going. Their middle-order has been very consistent with the likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, and Dewald Brevis. Brevis has been hot and cold but he looks in good touch. Kieron Pollard has failed to finish games for MI and they need the big man to deliver.  

Their bowling has been poor as well. Even Jasprit Bumrah hasn’t been at his best for them while the others don't give a lot of confidence. Daniel Sams and Jaydev Unadkat have been decent in the last few matches but they’ve been quite expensive. Their spin attack is non-existent at the moment as Hritik Shokeen, the youngster, is the only spinner in their line-up. They have Mayank Markande but he is yet to play a game. Riley Meredith has looked good in the two games that he has played. Mumbai needs to play as a unit and compliment each other well to do well in their remaining games of IPL 2022.
