Vijay Hazare Trophy: MUM vs KER Dream11 Fantasy Cricket Tips, Playing XI, Pitch Report, Team And Preview
Kerala have had mixed fortunes in the tournament so far, with three victories and the same number of losses in six matches so far. Hence, they have notched 12 points. Mumbai haven’t done much better either, but were somewhat aided by the fact that a couple of their games failed to produce any result due to the turbulent weather conditions. They have won twice, lost twice, and have bagged the same number of points as Kerala until now.
Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019
Mumbai vs Kerala
Just Cricket Academy, Bengaluru
October 14th, 2019
9:00 AM IST
Mostly cloudy weather with 8% chances of rain and the temperature ranging around 21 degrees Celsius is expected during the course of the game.
The track at the Just Cricket Academy could be quite tricky to judge, as it might aid the pacers early on but could get a bit easier to bat on once the batsman settles in. The phase early on in the morning could be very interesting to witness.
Predicted Playing XI:
Yashasvi Jaiswal is being given a long run at the top, and he would be hope to make it count as well. Otherwise, the Shreyas Iyer-led side boasts of an incredible middle-order with the likes of Siddesh Lad and Suryakumar Yadav along with Shivam Dube adding further firepower to the lineup. Tushar Deshpande and Shardul Thakur with Dhawal Kulkarni form the core of a formidable bowling unit.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Aditya Tare (wk), Siddhesh Lad, Shreyas Iyer (C), Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, Dhrumil Matkar, Dhawal Kulkarni, Tushar Deshpande, Shardul Thakur, Shams Mulani
Jalaj Saxena along with Sanju Samson would be banked upon to carry the middle-order’s responsibilities, but they are flanked by the experience of the likes of Robin Uthappa and Sachin Baby who would have to work equally well for the batting order to click against Mumbai’s bowling unit. Sandeep Warrier and KM Asif would spearhead Kerala’s bowling.
Robin Uthappa (c), Vishnu Vinod, Jalaj Saxena, Sanju Samson (wk), Sachin Baby, Ponnam Rahul, Mohammed Azharuddeen, Akshay Chandran, MD Nidheesh, Sandeep Warrier, KM Asif
Sanju Samson did incredible justice to his potential, by finally notching his maiden List A century and then doubling it up in the same match itself last time against Goa as he scored 212 runs unbeaten, instantly propelling him to the news once again. One can bank upon Samson to continue his rich run of form against Mumbai as well. Shivam Dube racked up a fantastic century against Karnataka, chasing 312 and eventually falling short by merely nine runs. However, Dube earned applause from each quarter, and he has been pushing his case even more strongly for national selection with some impressive performances in the India ‘A’ circuit and in the domestic matches. Shreyas Iyer has recently strengthened his position in the Indian ODI team, and he is someone who is a reliable enough figure to be drafted in this Dream XI side. Robin Uthappa can use his experience to play the anchor role and notch runs at the top order, as he would have the required number of deliveries to play out in front of him here.
1: Sanju Samson
2: Shreyas Iyer
3: Robin Uthappa
