Nepal have been drawn in Pool B along with England and Australia.
Nepal are among the 12 teams that are participating in the tournament which will be from Nov 1 to Nov 3 at Mong Kok. They have been drawn in Pool B along with England and Australia.
Nepal has announced their squad, which includes a mix of players with varying levels of experience. Sundeep Jora, the most experienced player in the team, leads the lineup. The squad also features players like Lokesh Bam and Pratis GC, who bring some international experience. Additionally, there are players like Dipendra Rawat and Narayan Joshi, who are yet to make their international debuts.

The most experienced player in the squad is Sundeep Jora who will also the side in this tournament. The 23-year-old middle-order batter has played 31 T20Is for his country and was also a part of the 2024 T20 World Cup. In T20Is, he has scored 388 runs.
Internationally he has also played 5 ODIs and scored 56 runs. In domestic cricket, Jora has played 7 List A matches scorded 80 runs, and in 35 T20s, scored 464 runs.
Being the most experienced player in the squad, he is expected to play a key role for Nepal in the tournament.
Rashid Khan, 23-year-old, has played only 2 T20I so far for his country. Neither does he have much experience in domestic cricket, as he has just played 5 T20 matches where he scored 28 runs and took 2 wickets.
He also played national championships such as the Saptari Premier League. Rashid Khan is a right-handed batsman as well as bowls right arm medium pace.
Rashid will most likely represent Nepal as a cricket all-rounder in this tournament given the information available.
21-year-old Bibek Yadav has played some international cricket, but he has secured only 1 wicket and scored 91 runs so far in 19 T20Is. He has played 22 T20 domestic matches, took 2 wickets and scored 108 runs.
Bibek last played for Nepal earlier this year against Qatar. While statistics are not very impressive for him, this is an opportunity for him to put himself into the lime light if he can perform well.
Aged 22 years, Dipendra Rawat has not played any international cricket for Nepal nor domestic cricket. However, he has played national-level competitions, recently for instance, he played in the National T20 Cricket Tournament this year, where he played 7 matches for Karnali Province and took 5 wickets and scored 38 runs.
Dipendra is a right-handed batter and bowls off-break. For the type of players Dipendra is, this tournament plays a huge role for him as he gets a bigger platform to showcase his talent in front of more people and represent his country.

Narayan Joshi, 23, has no international experience and has played just one domestic T20 match, which was against Ireland A earlier this year. He has also participated in national tournaments like the Saptari Premier League.
In the National T20 Cricket Tournament, Joshi represented Sudur Paschim Province, where he played 6 matches and took 9 wickets.
Lokesh Bam, aged 24, brings international as well as domestic experience to the table. He has played 11 T20Is and has scored 86 runs. He has played 16 matches in T20 domestic competitions and has thus far scored 270 runs with one century against Ireland A this year.
Like Sundeep Jora and Bibek Yadav, Lokesh will be a key player for Nepal in this tournament, considering he has experience with the national team in the past.
Pratis GC, at 20 years of age, has been quite popular on the international scene as well. He has featured in 10 T20Is and 3 ODIs for Nepal. He has picked 8 wickets in T20Is and 2 wickets in ODIs. He has played 5 List A matches in which he picked 2 wickets and 13 T20s wherein he took 9 wickets.
Pratis was picked up into Nepal’s squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup, but he did not get to play any match. With his medium pace he will play a vital role for Nepal in this tournament.
