Akash Deep has taken significant steps in his international career and slowly established himself in the pace department of the Test team. He bowls with a straight seam, is skiddy in nature, and generates variable bounce, which are the ideal ingredients to succeed in the longest format.
However, he hasn’t created the same impact in the T20s and has been mediocre in whatever little he has played in the Indian Premier League (IPL). But he has the skillsets to be a successful bowler, especially with the new ball.
