Their first buy at Jeddah was to bring back their Kiwi opener Devon Conway and they further strengthened the batting attack by roping in domestic star Rahul Tripathi next.
For CSK’s third buy, they activated their solitary RTM card to get back Rachin Ravindra after PBKS had initially secured the New Zealand all-rounder. The CSK management also reunited their spin all-rounder duo of Jadeja and Ashwin after buying the latter. In the pace bowling department, CSK added Khaleel Ahmed to pair with their Sri Lankan retention Matheesha Pathirana.
