We look at players retained and acquired during the IPL 2025 auction by Delhi Capitals (DC).
Delhi Capitals made their first purchase getting Mitchell Starc for INR 11.75 crores after an intense bidding. Then, they bought KL Rahul and Harry Brook at reasonable prices. They exercised their RTM on Jake Fraser-McGurk, getting him for INR 9 crores.
Their next purchase was T Natarajan whom they got for INR 10.75 crores. DC got Karun Nair at INR 50 Lakhs. Sameer Rizvi, who earned a big amount last time, was acquired for INR 95 Lakhs.
Ashutosh Sharma comes in next in DC’s squad at INR 3.80 crores. They also got Mohit Sharma at INR 2.20 crores. They bought Faf du Plessis for his base price of INR 2 crores.
They used RTM on Mukesh Kumar at INR 8 crores. They got Darshan Nalkande at his base price of INR 30 Lakhs.
Then, DC got Vipraj Nigam for INR 50 Lakhs. Their next picks were Dushmantha Chameera and Donovan Ferreira at INR 75 Lakhs each. They then picked Ajay Mandal and Manvanth Kumar at INR 30 Lakhs each.
Their next pick was Tripurana Vijay at INR 30 Lakhs. Their last pick was Madhav Tiwari at INR 40 Lakhs.
