Hardik Pandya is leading a team for the first time in the IPL and has impressed with his tactics so far. Even during the toss on Saturday, he was willing to bat first despite losing the toss stating that dew will not make an appearance and was happy to defend a total.

Ferguson lauds his bowling partners too

Gujarat Titans boast of one of the best bowling attacks of the season so far. Apart from Lockie Ferguson, the likes of Mohammed Shami, Rashid Khan and Hardik Pandya keep the batters on their toes throughout the innings. Ferguson also pointed out the same stating that his job gets extremely easy thanks to the other bowlers in the team.

“Was one of those nights and with the kind of bowling partners I have, it makes things very easy for me. It’s great (to have a potent bowling unit) and helps to spread calmness in the group. The pressure was coming from both ends with the ball and it worked for us,” the Kiwi bowler added.
