He recently led RCB to their maiden IPL title, ending their 17-year wait.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) head coach Andy Flower has been appointed in the same role for the London Spirit men’s team in The Hundred 2026, reuniting with the director of cricket, Mo Bobat.

Andy Flower Named Head Coach of London Spirit

The London Spirit have won just 12 of their 38 completed matches in the tournament so far. Five of 12 victories for Spirit have come in 2022 when Eoin Morgan captained them to the knockout stages for the only time in their short history. In 2025, Spirit only won three out of eight matches to finish second-bottom.

Andy Flower, one of the most respected and successful T20 coaches in world cricket, will take charge from former Australian great Justin Langer ahead of the next season. The move follows the transfer of 49% stakes to Tech Titans, marking the start of a new era for the franchise. He has signed a multi-year contract, underlining the Spirit’s intent to achieve new heights with a franchise in the competition.

“I’m delighted that we’ve been able to secure Andy’s services as our men’s head coach. His track record across international and franchise cricket, over an extended period of time, speaks for itself. Andy and I have enjoyed a strong working relationship in the past, and I’m looking forward to building something special with him at London Spirit as we enter this new and exciting phase for the franchise,” said Mo Bobat in the press release by MCC.

Andy also expressed likewise excitement to work alongside Mo again. Furthermore, Any extended his gratitude to Mick Newell, Lisa Pursehouse, and everyone at Trent Rockets for their shared experience in the last five years.
