The second Test is scheduled to begin on December 6 at the Adelaide Oval.
Australia’s all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has confirmed that he is fully fit and available for the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India, which is scheduled to begin on December 6 at the Adelaide Oval.
Marsh had been dealing with a minor injury that raised doubts about his participation following Australia’s heavy 295-run defeat in the first Test in Perth. With concerns over his fitness, Australia had called up domestic player Beau Webster as a potential replacement.

However, Marsh has now put those worries to rest, stating that he has recovered and is ready to take the field.
The pressure on Marsh has been mounting, particularly due to the absence of Cameron Green, as the team needs Marsh to step up both as a bowler and a batsman. His role is crucial for maintaining the balance of the side, especially given the workload on Australia’s senior bowlers.
Marsh’s ability to contribute in both departments makes him a key player in the team’s strategy for the second Test. His fitness is vital for providing the necessary support to the aging bowling core, ensuring that Australia has a well-rounded lineup.
In a recent conversation with News Nine, Marsh was asked about how his body was feeling, as many were watching his fitness closely. He confidently said that he was feeling good and had fully recovered.
“The body’s all good, yep,” Marsh said.
When asked if there were any concerns about him playing in the second Test, Marsh assured everyone that he was ready to go and there was nothing to worry about.
“Nah nah, I’m good to go,” Marsh added.
