‘Utter filth’ – Former CSK and England star reacts to Hardik Pandya’s ridiculous no-look ramp shot

Pandya's shot left fans, teammates, and even the bowler in awe of the outrageous effort

India’s premier all-rounder Hardik Pandya recently made a return to the national team for the three-match India vs Bangladesh T20I series.

Playing in the first game, Pandya looked in incredible touch with the bat as India dominated the contest and sealed a comfortable 7-wicket win with a massive 49 balls to spare.

During the chase, Pandya gave a display of his sheer talent by slamming an unbeaten quickfire 16-ball 39.

However, Hardik Pandya upped the ante by pulling off an incredible no-look ramp shot against Bangladesh’s Taskin Ahmed, leaving fans, teammates, and even the bowler in awe of the outrageous effort.

In the 12th over, Taskin delivered a short ball with some aggression. However, Pandya, in his signature style, chose finesse over power.

With a simple wrist flick and without even looking at the ball’s trajectory, he launched it over the wicketkeeper’s head with a stylish ramp shot, leaving the crowd and players in shock.

Recently, a Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and England star reacted to the shot with a post on his social media handle on X (formerly Twitter).

Wicketkeeper-batter Sam Billings posted a video of the shot and captioned it, “This is utter filth”.

While the England star’s caption is misleading, Billings highlighted that the shot was so impressive that it left him amazed and described it as ridiculously good.
