She was trolled online after making the post on Kohli's birthday.
Former India skipper and star batter Virat Kohli celebrated his 36th birthday yesterday (November 5).
While wishes poured in from fans and athletes alike, amongst them was an Italian footballer who extended warm wishes to Kohli on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
Agata Isabella Centasso, who is an Italian women’s footballer, however, did not have a pleasant experience after making the post.
She was a victim of online bullying as few users ended up trolling her, following which she was compelled to put out another tweet highlighting the negativity she faced every time she had posted about Virat Kohli.
Check some of the reactions to Agata’s post.
Agata wrote, “Every time I post something about Virat Kohli or cricket, thereâs always someone bringing negativity. I honestly donât understand why. Namaste đđ»”
Speaking about Kohli, he was recently retained by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) ahead of the IPL 2025 auction for a staggering amount of INR 21 crore, making him the second highest-paid retained player. Apart from that, Kohli is also rumoured to take over the RCB captaincy once again from the next season.
Kohli, however, has been struggling with his form and his fortunes didnât change in the recent three-match IND vs NZ Tests as well, registering scores of 0, 70, 1, 17, 4 and 1 across the six innings.
To put things in perspective, Kohli’s stats in Test cricket have seen a significant decline since 2020, with only two centuries scored during this time.

With the marquee Border Gavaskar Trophy lined up next, Kohli will aim to assess and fix specific areas in his batting as India eyes a record hattrick of wins in Australia.
