Jos Buttler made a funny remark on Rishabh Pant's batting in RR vs DC IPL 2024 pre-match pleasantries.
Rishabh Pant’s return to professional cricket has been the talk of IPL 2024 so far and the left-hander showed glimpses of his earlier self in the opening game for Delhi Capitals against Punjab Kings.
Pant, who copped the accident in December 2022, took more than one and a half years to make a full recovery but was cleared by the NCA eventually to even keep wickets in this year’s IPL.
Pant went on to take the gloves in Delhi’s opening match against Punjab, which Delhi went on to lose. Despite the loss, fans were relieved to see Pant batting like his usual self, unleashing some of his special strokes in a 13-ball 18.
Now with Delhi set to play Rajasthan Royals next in Jaipur, Jos Buttler caught up with Pant in the pre-match net session and exchanged pleasantries.

Buttler said that it was good to see Pant back batting while the wicketkeeper batter said that it was a long road back to recovery.

Pant: Yeah, learning patience from my injury only.
Buttler [laughing]: Not at batting..

The hilarious conversation went viral on social media as Delhi and Rajasthan prepare to face-off in each team’s second game of the season.
While RR started with a win, Delhi look to comeback from a loss in the away fixture.
