“Once pointed out, he (Raina) immediately complied with the procedures laid out by the authorities and regrets the unfortunate and unintentional incident.”

Suresh Raina had announced his retirement from international cricket in August alongside his close friend, MS Dhoni who also announced his retirement on the same day. The left-handed batsman did not play a part in the Indian Premier League season that took place in UAE from September 19-November 10, after he fell out with the CSK management over the lack of safety in the bio-secure bubbles.
