Hilarious dismissal in Bangladesh domestic game as batter lofts moon ball straight to the fielder [WATCH]

The fielding team couldn’t stop laughing as they were amazed to see their luck because such balls usually yield runs not wickets.

Asadulla Al Galib found the worst method to get out off Mahedi Hasan’s bowling on the third delivery of the 161st over in the National Cricket League. It was such a loose delivery, and the batter could have hit it anywhere but ended up giving a catch to the fielder.

Mahedi loaded his run-up, but while releasing, the ball slipped out of his hands, and it went very high in the air before coming down. Meanwhile, the batter, Asadullah, came down the track to convert it into a full toss and hit it towards the deep midwicket region.

However, he couldn’t get the timing correct and also slipped while playing the shot, so he couldn’t impart power in his shot. The ball went high in the air and straight to the fielder at long-on, patrolled by Sheikh Parvez.

Sheikh completed an easy catch, and the batter had to walk back dejected, for he couldn’t believe he got out on a delivery that slipped out of the bowler’s hand. The fielding team couldn’t stop laughing as they were amazed to see their luck because such balls usually yield runs not wickets.

Khulna Division trail by 493 runs by the end of Day 2

After winning the toss, Sylhet Division opted to bat first, and the decision turned out to be fruitful. Their batters piled on a whopping 496/7 before declaring the innings, and several batters scored runs for them.

The captain, Amite Hasan, top-scored 213 runs in 455 balls, including 18 boundaries and a maximum, in a marathon knock. Asadulla Al Galib compiled 115 runs in 242 deliveries, comprising seven boundaries and three maximums, while Pinak Ghosh fell one short of 100.

Mahedi Hasan was the pick of the bowler for Khulna Division, snaring four wickets for 152 runs in 61 overs. Ziaur Rahman also bowled well and dismissed three batters in 22 deliveries.

During the second innings, Khulna Division made three runs in two overs before the end of play. They have a big score in front of them and will need to bat deep to reach close to Sylhet Division’s score.
