He slammed a fiery 76 off 36 balls.
A latest Indian Premier League (IPL) sensation is lighting up the ongoing U19 Asia Cup with his fiery batting. 13-year-old Bihar prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi made the headlines after becoming the youngest cricketer to be picked up in an IPL auction. Not only that, he also went on to earn a lucrative contract for INR 1.1 crore after Rajasthan Royals secured his services.
Suryavanshi is now taking all the right steps and justified his price tag with a smashing batting display against UAE earlier today (December 4). Suryavanshi cracked an unbeaten 76 in India’s final group-stage game in Sharjah.
Pursuing a target of 138 runs, Suryavanshi showcased no nerves as he launched his first delivery for a slog-swept six over mid-wicket in the second over against UAE spinner Aliasgar. The powerful left-hander signalled his aggressive intent early, smashing two more sixes—one over long-on and the other over mid-wicket off left-arm spinner Aayan Khan.
Demonstrating his dominance, the Bihar batter once again took on Aliasgar, delivering a sharp cross-batted strike over the mid-wicket boundary for his fourth six in just 10 balls.

Speaking about the match, Vaibhav Suryavanshi with Mumbai teenager Aayush Mhatre for company, led India home to a breezy 10-wicket win.
Suryavanshi reached his fifty in 32 deliveries before the pair helped India qualify for the semi-finals of the continental tournament. Suryavanshi remained unbeaten on 76 off 36 balls, comprising three fours and six sixes.
