Taznim Hasan Sakib’s 147.2 km/h rocket sends Abhishek Sharma’s stumps cartwheeling [WATCH]

Abhishek was looking good during his short stay but had to depart early in the innings when he could have made it big.

Tanzim Hasan Sakib bowled a pacy rocket to send back Abhishek Sharma on the last delivery of the third over. It was delivered at 147.2 km/h, and the batter was definitely beaten by pace, which played a crucial role in that dismissal.

Tanzim bowled a back-of-a-length delivery outside the off-stump line, to which Abhishek tried to hoick across the line of the ball. However, it remained slightly on the lower side, and the batter could only get the inside edge of the bat.

The ball went on to hit the stumps, with the off-pole cartwheeling due to the pace of the delivery. Abhishek was looking good during his short stay but had to depart early in the innings when he could have made it big.

He probably didn’t expect the ball to come at that pace, and the surface has a slightly low bounce since the first over, which also played a role in that dismissal. It was a perfect dismissal for a fast bowler, a sight they enjoy, and the celebration of Tanzim right after the dismissal depicted how much he enjoyed it.

India lose three wickets in the powerplay

After winning the toss, Bangladesh opted to field first and started the innings brilliantly. The surface had something for the bowlers, for it was slightly on the slower side and had a low bounce.

The Bangladeshi pacers extracted it brilliantly by taking wickets at regular intervals to restrict Indian batters and not allow them to score freely. Firstly, Taskin Ahmed sent back Sanju Samson via a slower delivery, as Samson played his shot early and was undone by the low bounce.

Then, Tanzim Hasan Sakib got the better of Abhishek Sharma with a pacy delivery before Mustafizur Rahman got the biggest fish. He dismissed Suryakumar Yadav with one of his cutters, bowling into the pitch as the ball stuck a bit to draw a false shot from Suryakumar’s bat.

After the end of six overs, India could only score 45 and lost their top three. At the moment, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh are rebuilding the innings.
