Kohli showed immediate concern, while Nathan Lyon alerted the Australian physio, who quickly attended to the injured guard.

During the second innings of the Perth Test, Virat Kohli launched a stunning six off Mitchell Starc, hitting a security guard stationed at backward point.

The incident took place on the final ball of the 101st over when Virat Kohli played an exceptional uppercut off a short and wide delivery from Mitchell Starc. The ball flew over backward point, hitting the boundary cushions on the full for six runs.

However, it deflected from the cushions and struck a security guard on the side of his head as he sat near the boundary. Kohli showed immediate concern, while Nathan Lyon alerted the Australian physio, who quickly attended to the injured guard.

Security guards at matches are at risk because they have to keep their eyes on the crowd, so they can’t see what’s happening on the field behind them.

After a long time, Virat Kohli appears focused and in good form, handling both fast bowlers and spinners well. He is showing respect for good deliveries while taking full advantage of the poor ones, hitting them for boundaries.
