[WATCH] New recruit Washignton Sundar outfoxes Rachin Ravindra, starts New Zealand collapse

The incident happened on the 60th over of the NZ innings.

During the ongoing IND vs NZ 2nd Test, Washington Sundar, who was a late addition to the India squad gave a testament to his sheer skill by managing to outfox one of the best batters in the Kiwi lineup.

Sundar produced a magical delivery to knock over the in-form Rachin Ravindra in the second session on the opening day of the Test in Pune. The incident happened on the 60th over of the Kiwi innings.

Starting off his new spell in style, the 25-year-old fired in a perfect ball to get rid of a dangerous-looking Ravindra for 65.

Sundar delivered a textbook off-spin ball from around the wicket. As the ball drifted in and landed on a good length, it tempted Ravindra to step forward for a defensive shot. However, the ball spun sharply away, missing Rachin’s bat and clipping the top of the off stump.

An ecstatic Sundar leapt into the air in celebration as his Indian teammates surrounded him to rejoice in the crucial wicket.
