Bancroft’s wicket was the second in two balls for Krishna, as he also took the wicket of Marcus Harris before Bancroft’s dismissal

During a practice test match between Australia A and India A at the MCG, Prasidh Krishna bowled a stunning yorker to dismiss Cameron Bancroft for a golden duck.

This incident took place on the third ball of the first over of the second innings, when Prasidh Krishna bowled a full delivery from over the wicket with late outswing. Bancroft overbalanced and was beaten on the inside edge. After a huge appeal from Prasidh, the umpire raised his finger, sending Bancroft back to the pavilion without scoring, as he was dismissed for a golden duck.

Not only this, Bancroft’s wicket was the second in two balls for Prasidh, as he also took the wicket of Marcus Harris before Bancroft’s dismissal. Prasidh bowled it full and outside off, with a slight inward swing. Harris went for a drive but got an inside edge, which Jurel caught. Harris was sent back for a golden duck.

Then, on the next ball, Prasidh took Bancroft’s wicket, leaving Australia A at 1-2, giving him the chance to bowl the hat-trick ball. However, he bowled a length ball outside off, and Sam Konstas defended it to the gully, surviving the hat-trick ball.

This will give Prasidh a boost of confidence as he has been selected for the BGT series, and with his current form, he could also make it to the playing XI.
