However, he injured himself while diving to stop the ball. After receiving some treatment on the field, Sai Kishore was taken off the field by the physio.
Sai Kishore, though, had finished all of his four overs and registered figures of 2/34. Gujarat Titans restricted Mumbai Indians to 155/8. Will Jacks (53), Suryakumar Yadav (35) and Corbin Bosch (27) were the most impressive batters as the Hardik Pandya-led side endured an otherwise forgettable outing with the bat.
Sai Kishore has taken 14 wickets from 11 matches in IPL 2025 so far. At the time of writing this report, Gujarat Titans were 7/1 in the second over of the chase. Trent Boult had dismissed Sai Sudharsan for five runs off as many balls.
