Making a valiant dive to protect the ropes, Tim David had a funny wardrobe malfunctioning at the Old Trafford ground. 

In a hilarious incident, rising T20 star Tim David had his trouser falling off his legs during a fielding effort in one of the T20 Blast games in England. Playing for Lancashire, David had a moment of wardrobe malfunctioning while making a dive to protect the ball from going to the boundary ropes. 

The incident is from a North Group encounter against Worcestershire in Manchester. As Lancashire left-arm pacer Luke Wood was smashed towards the wide long-off region, David quickly sprinted from the cover to try and stop the ball before it collided with the ropes. 

The Singapore cricketer succeeded with his attempt but had a funny wardrobe mishap, as his pants got stuck to the turf and fell off the legs during the dive. 

The fans present at the stadium, and even the commentators sitting behind the mic, saw the funny side of things, especially as the fielder got up with his pants down to make the throw to the playing arena. 

Full marks to Tim David, though, for not at all feeling embarrassed in the moment and retaining his focus on stopping the boundary and making the throw.

The incident happened right in front of a decent crowd that had gathered to watch Sunday (May 29) evening's T20 Blast fixture at the Old Trafford ground. 

The members of the crowd, those streaming the game in England the commentators had a collective laugh at Tim David for finding himself in an unexpected tangle off the turf.

The batter's trouser fell off his legs, making it a moment of embarrassment for the cricketer. 

 
But he amusingly stood unperturbed by the loud noise in the crowd and the laughs behind the mic, retaining his focus on the fielding save and his throw towards the surface. 

For what looked a certain boundary on a lush outfield in Manchester, Tim David's effort ensured Lancashire could limit the damage against their North Group rivals Worcestershire.
