Shubman Gill was run-out during the Gujarat Titans vs Delhi Capitals match in IPL 2025.
Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper Shubman Gill was furious at his opening partner R Sai Sudharsan after the former was run-out by Karun Nair during an IPL 2025 match against Delhi Capitals in Ahmedabad on Saturday Shubman Gill was facing a length delivery from Mukesh Kumar in the fourth ball of the second over.
He clipped it towards mid-wicket and set off for a single. Sai Sudharsan, at the other hand, noticed Delhi Capitals’ Karun Nair collecting the ball and the former didn’t hurry as a result. Karun had plenty of time as he fired a direct-hit at the wicketkeeper’s end.
Shubman Gill managed to score just seven runs from five balls, including a boundary, before being dismissed. At the time of writing this report, Gujarat Titans were 94/2 in 10 overs while looking to chase down a target of 204. Sai Sudharsan was dismissed for 36 by Kuldeep Yadav in the eighth over. Jos Buttler (44*) and Sherfane Rutherford (8*) were the unbeaten batters.
Gujarat Titans had won the toss and opted to field first. Delhi Capitals opener Abishek Porel (18 runs off nine balls) had got off to a brisk start before being dismissed by Arshad Khan in the second over. KL Rahul (28 runs off 14 balls) also got off to a promising start but the wicketkeeper-batter was struck LBW by Prasidh Krishna in the fifth over.

In the end, middle-order batters Axar Patel (39), Tristan Stubbs (31) and Ashutosh Sharma’s (37) contributions powered the visitors to a challenging total. Prasidh Krishna, with figures of 4/41, was the pick of Gujarat Titans’ bowlers.
Delhi Capitals currently lead the IPL 2025 standings with 10 points from six matches (One loss), whereas Gujarat Titans are in third place with eight points from six games (Two losses).
