The highly anticipated Asia Cup 2025 will kickstart on September 9 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Eight nations have been divided into two groups. The top two sides from both groups will advance to the next stage to play three Super Fours matches each. The summit clash is scheduled to take place on September 28 at the Dubai International Stadium.

India will start their campaign as the defending champions, following their comprehensive victory against Sri Lanka in the ODI edition in 2023. On the other hand, Sri Lanka would also look to secure the T20 title after winning it in 2022 by defeating Pakistan.
