Ranji Trophy 2025-26 Round 4 began today and will be played from November 8 to 11. Here’s the full round-up of all the key moments and performances from Day 1, Round 4.
Dhruv Shorey scored an unbeaten 128 off 250 balls in the Vidarbha vs Odisha match, hitting 10 fours and one six. He also has two half-centuries to his name this season.
Aryan Juyal remained not out on 118 off 172 balls in the Uttar Pradesh vs Nagaland match, with 15 boundaries in his innings. He has also registered a fifty earlier in the season.
Mayank Agarwal and Smaran Ravichandran scored half-centuries in the Maharashtra vs Karnataka match. Opening the innings, Mayank made 80 off 181 balls with seven fours and two sixes. Smaran, batting at No. 5, added 54 off 84 balls, hitting seven fours. In the previous match against Kerala, Smaran had scored an unbeaten 220.
Meanwhile, Karun Nair, who hit a double century in the last game, was dismissed for just four runs.
Hanuma Vihari scored an unbeaten 143 off 215 balls in the Tripura vs Assam match. Coming in to bat at No. 4, he hit 17 fours and one six and remained not out till the end of the day’s play as Tripura reached 316/4. In the previous match as well, he smashed 141 against Bengal. Vihari has been in terrific form.
Shahbaz Ahmed scored 86 in the Railways vs Bengal match. Coming in to bat at No. 6, he faced 106 balls and hit 12 fours and three sixes. He has been in good form in both departments this Ranji Trophy season, having scored two half-centuries and taken 10 wickets so far.
Auqib Nabi picked a five-for in the Mumbai vs Jammu and Kashmir match. He helped his team dismiss Delhi for 212. He bowled 16 overs, gave away 35 runs, and took five wickets. So far in the tournament, he has taken 24 wickets, including three five-fors.
Ayush Badoni, the captain of Delhi, came to bat at No. 4 in the first innings of the Delhi vs Jammu and Kashmir match when his side were 13-2. He scored a half-century and remained unbeaten till the end of the first session as Delhi reached 107-3. Badoni was not out on 62, hitting six boundaries. Later he was dismissed for 64 runs.
Meanwhile, Musheer Khan scored a century in the Mumbai vs Himachal Pradesh match. He was unbeaten on 60* at the end of the first session and continued his fine form in the second session to reach his century. In his innings so far, he has hit 12 boundaries.

Ajinkya Rahane fell for another low score in the Ranji Trophy this season, getting out for just two runs in the first innings of the Mumbai vs Himachal Pradesh match. Earlier, in the match against Rajasthan, he also had a disappointing outing, scoring only three and 18 runs.
