India will begin with the three ODIs to be played in Mirpur and Chattogram
India will travel to Bangladesh for three ODIs and three T20Is between August 17 and 21, the BCCI has confirmed on Tuesday.
India will begin the series with the ODIs with the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur hosting the first and second ODIs on August 17 and 20 respectively.
The third and final ODI will be played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on August 23.
The first T20I series will played on August 26 in Chattogram after which the teams will return to Mirpur for the second and third T20Is on August 29 and 31 respectively.
India last played Bangladesh in an ODI in the group stage clash of the Champions Trophy 2025 in February. India notched up an easy win by six wickets in that clash.
The last bilateral series between the Asian neighbours took place in October last year with India sweeping the T20I series 3-0.

An ODI bilateral series in Bangladesh between the two sides hasn’t taken place since 2022. India had posted a record total of 409/8 in the third ODI of the series and won the match by a whopping 227 runs, but by then they had lost the series 2-0.
In that series under Suryakumar Yadav’s captaincy, India handed T20I debuts to young all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy and pacer Mayank Yadav in that series.
“This series promises to be one of the most exciting and most anticipated events in our home calendar. India have set the benchmark in international cricket across all formats and the cricket-loving millions in both countries are sure to enjoy this contest,” BCB Chief Executive Officer Nizam Uddin Chowdhury said.
“Bangladesh and India have played some very competitive matches in recent years, and I am confident that this will be another hard-fought and entertaining series,” he added.
India are likely to arrive for the series on August 13 and leave on September 1.
The series will follow after the Indian Test side returns from a five-match series in England from June 20 to August 4 which will also mark the beginning of the next cycle of World Test Championship.
