‘Sometimes the Figures Don’t Justify…’: SRH Pacer Hails Gujarat Titans’ R Sai Kishore Following His Impressive Spell vs RCB in IPL 2025
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacer Jaydev Unadkat was impressed by the performance of Gujarat Titans (GT) spinner R Sai Kishore on Wednesday.

Sai Kishore finished with impressive figures of 2/22 from four overs in Gujarat Titans’ IPL 2025 match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Wednesday.

“That was one brave spell by Sai Kishore! Angles, speed variations, batter awareness, skills.. sometimes the figures don’t justify how good the performance was! Also, very few spinners can do that at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Brilliant to watch,” Jaydev Unadkat posted on micro-blogging website “X”.
Sai Kishore first struck in the 13th over with the dismissal of Jitesh Sharma before seeing off Krunal Pandya, who was caught and bowled by Sai Kishore himself. Jitesh, on the other hand, was caught by Rahul Tewatia, who came running in from long-on.
Sai Kishore continues stellar display
The Chennai-born cricketer has been in excellent form in IPL 2025 for Gujarat Titans. He registered figures of 3/30 against Punjab Kings and clinched figures of 1/37 against Mumbai Indians. Overall, Sai Kishore has played 13 matches in the IPL and has taken 19 wickets. Sincemaking his IPL debut in 2022, Sai Kishore has gone onto become an integral part of the Gujarat Titans bowling lineup thanks to his ability to produce economical figures and also striking at the right time.
His performance on Wednesday helped Gujarat Titans restrict Royal Challengers Bengaluru to 169/8 from 20 overs after winning the toss. At the time of writing this report, Gujarat Titans were 134/2 in 15 overs, with Jos Buttler just having scored a fifty. Gujarat Titans are looking to win their second match of the IPL 2025 season.
