Why PBKS vs DC IPL 2025 Match at Dharamsala was stopped?

PBKS vs DC Match Summary

After winning the toss, Shreyas Iyer chose to bat first. They started this fixture with an unchanged batting line-up from their last game.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals made two changes to their playing XI combination. Sameer Rizvi replaced Karun Nair due to the latter’s poor form in the recent games. Legspinner Vipraj Nigam was replaced by medium pacer Madhav Tiwari, who would’ve been more suitable at the Dharamsala pitch.

The game began with a power-hitting show from PBKS openers – Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh. The lefty-righty combination worked once again for the hosts as they both scored half-centuries each. Priyansh was seen hitting boundaries all over the park with a strike rate of 205.88. His knock included six sixes and five fours. Prabhsimran, despite struggling at one point, mesmerised the crowd with a 178.57 strike rate, which included seven boundaries.

Just before the game’s conclusion, T Natarajan took the southpaw’s wicket. He was also the most economical bowler for the visitors as he gave also just four runs in 1.1 overs.

Keeper-batter Josh Inglis was next in line to bat alongside Prabhsimran.

The fight for a spot in the Playoffs continues as both teams are in contention, along with the Mumbai Indians. On the other hand, Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bengaluru are most likely ahead of the race as they’d be aiming for the top two spots. In other to do so, they must win at one game out of their remaining fixtures.
