Among many jersey numbers on the field for India at Lord’s in the second Test against England, no one was wearing No.69 until suddenly fans all over the globe did witness one such ‘Indian fieldsman’.
In one of the most bizarre incidents to have happened on a cricket field, a pitch invader disturbed play wearing a replica of the Indian Test jersey with No.69 at the back.
It was an Englishman by the name of Jarvo who sneaked into the playing arena and almost reached the pitch before the ground security guards recognised he is an invader and took him off.

Invader funnily tries to convince the umpire of his Indian team connect.
Once the invader saw that the guards are coming around him, he funnily tried to convince him that he is just another Indian cricketer, who is wearing the jersey.
Not just fans, even the commentators and the Indian players were left in splits while Jarvo tried to talk to one of the guards and tried to have things his way.
In a clip shared over Twitter of the amusing passage, one could see paceman Mohammed Siraj indulging in great laughter, almost as if he had mistaken Jarvo for one of his India teammates.
The invader’s quest to meet them gave the players a few lighter moments amidst what has been an absorbing Test match at Lord’s. With India slipping from 278/3 to 364 all out in the first innings, England too found themselves vulnerable as they strived to surpass the visitors’ total.
