Kranti Goud played for UP Warriorz in the 2025 Women's Premier League (WPL).
Right-arm medium pacer Kranti Goud is making her T20I debut for India women’s cricket team in the fifth and final T20I against England in Birmingham on Saturday.
The 21-year-old was named in India’s playing XI on Saturday as she replaced all-rounder Sneh Rana. Kranti Goud has played for UP Warriorz in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). India made one other change for the match, with Harleen Deol coming in for Amanjot Kaur. The Women in Blue have already clinched the series with the scoreline reading 3-1.
Kranti Goud played eight matches for UP Warriorz in Women’s Premier League 2025 after being acquired by the franchise for INR 10 lakh. She finished the season with six wickets at an average of 34.66 and an economy rate of 9.45. She registered her best bowling figures of 4/25 against Delhi Capitals.

The youngster plays for Madhya Pradesh in domestic cricket. She played a crucial role in helping Madhya Pradesh clinch the Women’s One Day Cup in 2024, taking 17 wickets in the tournament. In the game against Chhattisgarh in that tournament, she registered figures of 3/24.
Earlier this year in February, the youngster opened up on how she felt after being picked up by UP Warriorz at the WPL 2025 auction. “When UP Warriorz picked me, I had tears in my eyes,” she told ESPNCricinfo.
“I called my family and spoke to my oldest brother, Mayank Singh. He was watching the auction – he had been looking forward to it. At first he got very emotional, and we couldn’t speak. I called him again after a while; he started crying and even I couldn’t control myself,” she added.
Kranti Goud made her ODI debut in May this year against Sri Lanka in Colombo. That is the only ODI she has played for the Women in Blue so far, but finished with wicketless figures of 0/22 from five overs.
